The dancers are a group of intellectually disabled teenagers and young adults who have been performing for audiences throughout the country since they formed in 2006.
The dancers have been Australia Day Ambassadors since 2007.
There are more than 150 dancers in several groups and have already been Australia Day Ambassadors to the City of Sydney, Narrabeen and Newcastle in past years.
Highlights for the group have been performing with stars such as Trevor Ashley, John Foreman, Doug Parkinson, Rhonda Birchmore, Maria Venuti, Deni Hines, Damian Leith, Iva Davies, Tim Campbell, Jackie Love, Brielle Davis, Paula Duncan, Todd McKenney and Barker College Big Band.
They have performed for the Governor-General, the Governor of NSW, several NSW Premiers, the arrival for the Flame of Hope Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, Mat and Chloe Rogers' fund-raising carols 4ASDKids, Humpty Dumpty Foundation and many community and charity events.
The group will address the crowd and perform at the council's citizenship ceremony (taking place from 11am-noon) in front of the Joyce Wheatley Community Centre, Hindmarsh Park.
They will also address the crowd and perform at the Gerringong celebrations, taking place at Gerringong Surf Life Saving Club at 8.30am.
