Member for Shellharbour Anna Watson handed over $4560 to the group last week.
Ms Watson said the KidsFest Arts Trail would create an interactive arts and cultural event.
As part of the program, three Shellharbour artists - Anita Larkin, Melissa Gillis and Richard Campbell - will share their arts practice with local children.
"Multiple workshops at local primary schools will run between May 17 and 22 and culminate with the KidsFest Arts Trail at Killalea State Park on May 23," Ms Watson said.
