"Everyone tells me I'm so gifted, I'm starting to believe it," the 75-year-old said.
"You don't always appreciate that you have a gift - I just love giving joy to other people."
The award-winning artist's talents will be on display at the Shellharbour Village Exhibition Space on the corner of Addison and Wentworth streets.
The exhibition, All by Myself, is just Norington's second solo show - the first was at the same venue last October.
Norington's output is prolific - she estimates she will have over 100 paintings on display, showing a diversity of styles, including landscapes, seascapes and still life in different mediums.
"At the last show, people didn't believe it was just the one artist ... I love all the mediums and I enjoy experimenting," Norington said.
Norington studied at Wollongong TAFE from 1977-1984, completing various courses in art and and design, still life, landscape painting, life drawing and silk screening. She is also a noted signwriter and calligrapher.
Her works have been exhibited in many major shows, including Florawarra in the 1980s, where she was resident artist at Wollongong Art Gallery, and her paintings have been commissioned or bought by public and private collectors all over the world.
All by Myself is open 10am-5pm until January 26.
