Create a short film using your action camera or smart device, and load it onto the Kiama Connect website.
*The film must be made for the 2015 Kiama Outdoor Summer Movie Trailer Competition
*The theme for the competition is ‘what you love about Kiama’.
*You must mention ‘Kiama’, ‘Gerringong’ or ‘Jamberoo’ in your trailer – either spoken or as a caption.
*Your trailer should be created for a G-rated audience – language and themes should have only a mild impact.
*No explicit language, no violence and no nudity.
*Opening and/or closing credits are not required. If included, they should be no longer than five seconds in total.
*Your film should be two to three minutes in length.
Films must be submitted to Kiama Connect website by YouTube clip.
The competition is open to all ages and entrants may enter as individuals, or as a group.
Entrants may submit multiple entries, but each must differ significantly from their other entries.
Entries can be lodged at www.kiamaconnect.com.au.
Entries close Friday, January 16 and winners will be notified by Friday, January 23.
Winning entries will screen at the start of council’s Summer Outdoor Movies, which are at Black Beach Kiama, Sunday, January 25 and Friday, February 13; Kevin Walsh Oval, Jamberoo on Saturday, February 21 and Gerringong Cricket Club on Friday, February 27.
