Part of the special education program, last Wednesday's gala day provided students with disabilities the chance to play in a competition against other schools.
"This year we had seven schools and more than 100 students in the five-a-side competition and we are delighted that as the winners of last year's competition we had home ground advantage," coach Nathan Bridges said.
Seven schools took part in this year's event - Corrimal, Kanahooka, Warilla, Keira, Warrawong, Para Meadows and Albion Park, with competition fierce.
Albion Park goal-keeper Dylan Braan said he was pleased to be playing again.
"I was heaps excited; it is a great opportunity to meet new friends and I love being part of the team," Braan, who turned 16 the day before the competition, said.
Bridges said the day was designed to be fun for participants and supporters alike.
