Investments in Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust and Shopping Centres Australia, help propel the Freehold Absolute Return Fund to a 1.73 per cent return over the month of October. The fund has generated a 15.9 per cent return over the past 12 months, and 27.5 per cent since inception on June 30, 2013. According to the manager, Andrew Smith, the daily volatility of the fund since inception is less than 5 per cent.

StreetSLEEP raises $125,000+
The Property Industry Foundation's (PIF) annual StreetSLEEP fundraising event in NSW saw Parramatta City Council and property industry professionals take to the street raising awareness for disadvantaged youths. A total of $125,155 has been raised so far, following the event last Thursday, November 13, in Western Sydney. An inspirational speech was given by current and former Sydney Swans players Adam Goodes and Michael O'Loughlin, who are Lend Lease's Reconciliation Action Plan Ambassadors. The major partner of this year's Sydney's StreetSLEEP was Lend Lease with event partner's Parramatta City Council and Pirtek Stadium. Charity partners included Parramatta Mission, Marist Youth Care and Salvation Army Youthlink.
