KIAMA Bowling Club's Jones bowling dynasty has added another page to their incredible record after brothers Leslie and Trevor Jones were joined by Trevor's daughter Bronwyn Campbell to win the club's 2014 Mixed Triples crown.

The team won a thrilling final 27-24 on the final end over Tony Van Zanen, Audrey Evans and Mick Weir, who was substituting for Terry Boniface.
"I really can't believe we won," Bronwyn said. "Leslie and dad decided that I should skip the side, which was a real thrill.
"I think I would be the only female skip to lead a side that has won the mixed title, which makes it even more special.
"In fact after skipping against Joan Brownlie in round one, I was up against male skips for the rest of the competition."
Bronwyn said she was thrilled that she managed to win the final with her father (Leslie actually substituted for her mother Ros who was unwell) and uncle, but the experienced pair were full of praise for their fearless leader.
"We were lucky enough that in every game if someone was a bit 'off', the other two were 'on' and that is the beauty of our team - we really did combine well - but Bronny was inspirational," Trevor said. "In one game when she came to bowl we were four shots down and she drew two to win the end."
"We wanted Bronny to skip - you could say it was probably time for us to take a bit of a back seat," Leslie said.
Bronwyn said it was an absolute thrill to play with Trevor, the man she called her teacher and inspiration.
"I really only came back to full-time bowls this year after both my kids were settled at university, although I always made time to play with mum in the ladies pairs," she said.
"We became the first mother-daughter combination to win the club pairs in 1998 and have won it three times since, while Trevor, Ros, Les and I won the mixed fours in 1999."
Ros, after taking up bowls along with Bronwyn and son-in-law Russell Campbell on Trevor's encouragement in 1989, has won every women's title more than once, while the Jones brothers Trevor, Les, Norm, Willie and Russell have won a virtual plethora of titles to dominate the club's honour board. One of the brothers' biggest thrills was Trevor and Leslie winning the South Pacific Pairs in 1996.
But bowlers should be wary as there is another Jones in training, with Bronwyn's son Reuben learning the ropes.
"We are now breeding our own substitutes," Bronwyn said with a smile.
