Regional Land Cookery Officer, Glenice Richardson, said a feature of this year's competition was a special Anzac package, which included a fruit cake and Anzac biscuit slab, with both having to fit in a shoebox, similar to packages that were sent to the troops in World War I and II. Rosemary Richardson from Jamberoo took the top prize.
Neve Morris won the junior section, with the winners of each section now moving on to the State finals in Tamworth next May.
