The Lakers' thumping 210-run win at Cavalier Park not only maintained their unbeaten record for the season, but also their competition lead.
Meanwhile, in other games Oak Flats scored a comfortable victory over Shellharbour and premiers Albion Park finally broke through for a win after a solid effort against Warilla Kookas.
The Lake innings started badly, losing a wicket in the first over, but from that point onwards they plundered an under-strength Kiama attack to register a massive 7-317 from their 50 overs.
A second wicket partnership of 124 between Mark Ulcigrai (65, including eight fours) and David Lambert (52, with four fours and two sixes) gave them an ideal platform to launch an all-out assault.
They did just that as Scott Ulcigrai (75, including six fours and two sixes) and captain Brendan White (86, with six fours and four sixes) went on with the job.
Josh Simpson and Eric Davies were the pick of the Cavs' attack, with 4-55 and 2-54 from their ten overs respectively.
The Cavaliers innings started disastrously, losing four early wickets before Jaya Hartgerink (35 not out) and Dave Timbs (36) provided some resistance.
The loss of Timbs' wicket caused another crash though, and they folded for 107.
Greg Connor (3-11) did the early damage, while Brett Hole (2-10) and Jamie Crowhurst (2-24) also bowled well.
Albion Park broke through for their inaugural victory of the season at the expense of the Kookas at Keith Grey Oval.
Batting first, the Eagles tallied a competitive 178, thanks mainly to good batting at the top of the order from captain Adam Coughlan (36) and Jay Ferguson (33), as well as a late flurry from Jack Bennett (21) and Number 11 Jarrod Booth.
Callum DeBruyn (3-29) was the Kookas' most successful bowler, while Josh Cuthbert and Scott Cox both grabbed doubles.
The Kookas quickly slumped to 4-14, but 32 from Chris Delgado and Darren Zampa (24) allowed the visitors to scramble to 127.
Raheel Chaudry did most of the early damage and finished with 3-14, while leggie Jack Bennett and Jacob Lambert each snared two wickets.
The final game had Oak Flats untroubled as they completed an eight-wicket demolition of Shellharbour at Tom Willoughby Oval.
Batting first after winning the toss, the Scorpions looked solid at 2-66, but couldn't build on the start and were all out for 117 off just 28 overs. Skipper Todd Cordes top-scored with 34, while Cole Lynch and Lachlan Ritchie notched up 20 and 22 respectively.
Brett Morrow (4-39) and Andrew Twyford (3-32) were the best of the Rats' bowlers.
In reply, it was again openers Rob McMahon and Kerry Penfold who set the scene via an opening partnership of 112.
This weekend's round will pit Lake Illawarra against Albion Park at Howard Fowles Oval, while Kiama will host Shellharbour and the Kookas are at home against Oak Flats.
