Each year the woodcarvers donate to the hospital and this year it is an eight-piece pyrography mosaic, to be raffled in the auxiliary Christmas raffle.
The mosaic is a collaborative piece created by several members from the woodcarvers group and features buildings along the South Coast.
Shellharbour Woodcarvers member Frank O'Connor said it took about four hours to create each element.
"A photograph is traced onto ply wood and then using a pyrography pen we burn the sketch into the ply," he said. "The mosaics are all houses and churches from as far down the South Coast as the Victorian border."
Money raised will go towards a diathermy machine.
The raffle will be drawn at the Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary Christmas stall held at Shellharbour Hospital on November 28 from 9.30am-2pm.
