The club will host a Come and Try Day on Sunday, November 16 as part of PlayGOLF week, a Golf Australia initiative aimed at getting more people on greens and fairways.
The day is free and open to people of all golfing abilities.
Jamberoo Golf Club captain Dave Ransom encouraged anybody thinking about playing golf to come along.
"It'll be a fun, relaxed day and a great way to get an introduction to golf if you've never played," Ransom said.
"We also want to encourage those people who might have given the game up to pick up the clubs again and get back into it.
"There will be some putting and chipping competitions and anybody who comes along can play a free four-hole trial to get a feel of the game and the course."
Equipment, such as balls and clubs, will be supplied and the club will also be offering special membership packages on the day.
Ransom said the day was a prime opportunity to show people that anybody can participate in the sport.
"There probably are some people who think it's a sport that you have to have played for a while, but that's not the case.
"It's something that everybody can do and it's a great way to get out and about. The course here at Jamberoo is beautiful, and just walking around the course is a pleasant experience."
