With a distinctive voice and charming songs, Plum burst onto the scene with her debut EP Rosie, but has put down her guitar, moved to Sydney's inner-west and taken a new musical direction.
Working with well-known hip-hop producer M-Phazes (Kimbra and Eminem), Plum's new EP, Monsters, reveals a forward-thinking and modern sound without compromising the singer's warm vocals.
The first single, How Much Does Your Love Cost?, opens with a Tarantino-like spaghetti western guitar riff before Plum's voice builds above a crescendo of strings.
Plum is touring Monsters nationally and will play Anita's Theatre in Thirroul on Sunday, November 2. She has already sold out shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in July.
The singer has assembled a misfit cast of seasoned musicians to recreate the Monsters soundscape on stage, and with old favourites brought back to new life.
