THE Illawarra District Women's Carnival was held at Warilla Bowling Club last week and a team of Kiama Ladies played almost perfect bowls, beating teams from Towradgi and Dapto.

In the second round matches M. Miller and M. Ganderton defeated K. Bratby and J. Twist 24-23, P. Starr and W. Richardson defeated S. Edwards and S. Farr 19-16, D. Kohlenberg and A. Stewart defeated W. Steele and T. Jones 24-12 and B. Dun and T. Boniface defeated T. McGuiness and A. Anstey 28-16.
The finals of this event are now scheduled to be played over the weekend of November 1-2
A reminder to all that the "Friday Arvo" bowls is now running, commencing at 3pm, playing 18 ends followed by snacks from the Club's SeaView Bistro.
The cost is $10 per player and names are required by 1pm each Friday.
