Fortunately for Wollongong fans, Stuart will drop by the city this Saturday to launch his latest CD, Place to Be, which has received rave reviews already in France, given a five out of five stars in the country's Nouvelle Vague magazine.
The quintet will perform at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music Auditorium, Glennifer Brae on October 25 from 7pm, much to the pleasure of Conservatorium jazz studies director Eric Dunan.
"We are really excited and honoured to have this line-up of musicians coming to play here as part of our jazz series," Dunan said.
"These are some of the most distinguished jazz artists in Australia, and Stuart's music is truly beautiful."
Stuart's "all-star" line-up features Melbourne saxophonist Julien Wilson, Canberra-based trumpeter Miroslav Bukovski, Sydney bassist Jonathan Zwarts and drummer Tim Firth.
