The Keeping Connected seminar is a marriage getaway hosted by Americans Greg and Priscilla Hunt, as well as Kiama's Heather and John McAlpine.
The McAlpines are the chair couple for Better Marriages Australia, that have organised the event.
They have enlisted the Hunts from Better Marriages America to host the event.
Mrs Hunt is also the organisation's chief executive officer.
Mrs McAlpine said the event aims to provide couples with practical skills to enhance and revitalise what they already have.
This included helping couples who were committed to growing their relationship, instead of "going along on cruise control".
"It's for couples who are committed to growing their marriage, providing practical strategies to enhance your relationship," she said.
"It's making good marriages even better."
Mrs McAlpine said one of the key aspects of the seminar was being proactive.
"So if we go through hard times that we can draw upon the resources of our relationship to make that tough spot an opportunity to grow."
She said this was the only seminar the Hunts were hosting during their Australian visit.
"Most of our conferences we put on are in Sydney or Canberra where the populations are, but we felt it was time we did something regionally.
"It's quite exciting.
"They're a delightful couple.
"We met them when we were asked to speak at the Better Marriages America conference last year.
"It's a real privilege that they're coming out."
Topics to be discussed include talk straight, what's my family got to do with this?, fighting fair, be you . . . together and pursue passion.
Mrs McAlpine also wished to emphasise that the event was non-denominational, and that couples attending didn't have to be married.
