The standout sale was a stunning property in Campbell which set a new record for the inner north suburb.
The property at 14 Garsia Street sold under the hammer for $2.33 million, eclipsing the previous record by $40,000.
Independent Property Group auctioneer Andrew Potts accepted an opening bid of $1.5 million for the home and bids rose quickly in $100,000 amounts.
Instructions from the vendor were sought when the total hit $2.25 million.
An increased offer was made of $2.275 million before a further five bids were placed and the home sold under the hammer.
Independent Property Group Woden agent Jonathan Charles said there were seven registered bidders for the home.
Five of the seven registered bidders placed bids during the auction.
The Campbell home was one of three homes reported sold for more than a million dollars.
A contemporary four-bedroom home at 53 Golden Grove in Red Hill sold under the hammer for $1.51 million through LJ Hooker Manuka principal Stephen Thompson.
The home attracted eight registered bidders.
A traditional looking home with a contemporary interior at 10 Curlewis Crescent in Garran sold under the hammer for $1.052 million.
Agent Nicky Symon from Philip Kouvelis Real Estate said there were seven registered bidders for the home, which sold well above the reserve.
