One of only two clubs in the South Coast Group 7 competition to field five senior teams, more than 180 people attended to celebrate the season.
During a night full of highlights, club treasurer Denise Sawtell won the prestigious Bruce Noble Clubperson of the Year Award, while first grade back-rower Robbie Noble took out the Kevin Walsh Superoos Player of the Year.
Player of the Year Awards went to Luke Asquith (under-18s), Corey Bryant-Smith (thirds), John Sanson (reserves), Nicky Kresevic (Women’s Tag) and Robbie Noble (firsts).
Player’s Player Awards went to Aaron Smith (under-18s), Corey Bryant-Smith (thirds), Daniel Brigham (reserves), Nicky Kresevic (Women’s Tag) and Robbie Noble (firsts).
Coaches Awards in their respective grades went to Aaron Smith, Aaron Pickup, Anthony Johnston, Lauren Goodman and James Gilmore, Best Forward Shane Grant, Detlin Lisch, Daniel Wager and Gavin Jarrett.
Best Backs were awarded to Kieran Gilly, Cody McParland, Daniel Brigham, Josh Saunders, while Erin McParland and Krystal Ward won the Best Attacking and Defensive players in Women’s League Tag respectively.
Another highlight was the announcement of local junior Jono Dallas as first grade player/coach for the 2015 season, while Mick Hinkley and Jayson Smith will take the reins in reserve grade.
