He will be performing songs from his award-winning Sharkmouth album and his current hit record Van Diemen's Land, plus some past classics such as The Real Thing, Sweet Sweet Love, Hush and Wings of An Eagle.
ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Morris captured the imagination of fans in 2012 when he unveiled Sharkmouth, the first of a trilogy of albums re-telling some amazing stories from Australia's distant past - some famous, some not so famous.
This aimed to create a historical document using blues and rock to celebrate the yarns that modern Australia was built on.
Van Diemen's Land picks up where Sharkmouth left off, this time covering great Australian characters and stories including Breaker Morant, Sandakan, the Eureka Stockade and more.
Morris will be performing in full concert band mode, featuring band members Peter Robinson (guitar/vocals), Mitch Cairns (bass guitar/vocals) and John Creech (drums/vocals).
The show consists of Sharkmouth/Van Diemen's Land songs and concludes with classic hits.
Russell Morris is at the Oaks Hotel, Albion Park Rail at 7.30pm.
