Canterbury coach Des Hasler has let fly on the NRL match officials, declaring some of the decisions "dumb, dumb, dumb" as he watched his side concede 10 penalties in their seven point loss to South Sydney.

Fairfax Media understands that Hasler so irate with several decisions that he went searching for referees' boss Tony Archer after the game.
"The refereeing was poor," Hasler said. "Very poor. It'll take more than a bunker to fix this mob.
"I'll call Tony. I call him twice a day already; I'll call him four times a day now. Was he here? I tried to find him.
"They are inconsistent, but consistently bad."
Hasler was left fuming when referees Gerard Sutton and Alan Shortall stopped play to attend to a concussed Chris McQueen with Canterbury on a role on the last tackle. McQueen was taken from the field which allowed South Sydney's defence line to set.
Bulldogs halfback Trent Hodkinson kicked out on the full from that play and South Sydney dominated the closing stages of the match before Lote Tuqiri scored the match winner.
"There was no reason to call time off," Hasler said.
"Little things like that have a huge impact."
"[There was a] two to one penalty count. We gave away four or five last week and 10 this week."
Meanwhile, South Sydney coach Michael Maguire has called for defending captains to be stopped from approaching referees in vital moments of games after opposition skipper Michael Ennis halted play during the Bunnies' 21-14 win.
Ennis featured in multiple discussions with the referees in a game which left both teams frustrated.
"The game needs to get itself sorted out with captains approaching referees," Maguire said. "It hurts the attacking team when you are trying to build momentum."
