The first meeting of the club was held at the Kiama Leagues club on August 11, 1994 and foundation members of the club who had moved from the area were invited to return for the festivities.

Life member Bill Morris and Ben Meek, a founder member, spoke on the history of the club, and each of the members was been given a copy of the club’s history, compiled by Bill Morris.
Following the meeting members were entertained by a group under the direction of Wendy Leatham, ably assisted by Steve Leatham and a small band.
‘Entertainment’ was provided the pole dancers in black tights, whose average age of 70 plus.
The birthday cake was cut by Ann Bristow, the club’s first female president and John Nash, a founding member.
