Early in the afternoon they beat fourth-placed Robertson 11-1 and followed up another easy win over bottom-placed Dapto by a similar score in a deferred match.
Paul Counsell scored seven goals against fancied Robertson to move into the semi-final with great confidence.
This gave the students the minor title on a points score of 55 points to Albion Park's 45 points.
University captain Heath Ogilvie was ecstatic with the result and was happy with the minor title.
At Unanderra, the Park overcame Wests Illawarra 5-2.
Wests were leading Park 2-1 at half-time but conceded four goals in the second half. Blake Govers scored four goals with the final goal from Taylor Anderson. Wests replied from Elliott Ashby and Jack Rowe.
Wests now play Robertson in the minor semi next Sunday at 2pm.
