They will now be held Wednesday, September 24. That week the markets will run from 2-6pm with music, kids' games and activities.
Kiama Council has supplied the management committee with 125 silk lanterns in a range of colours that were a gift from Kiama's sister city Hoi An in Vietnam.
“There will be a kids' spud hunt on the beach and the market will run an hour later, until 6pm, so people can shop later and have dinner at the harbour,'' markets co-ordinator Tricia Ashelford said. "There will also be music and floating lanterns on the water, weather permitting.”
“Hanoi on Manning will have a Vietnamese food stall for this market as we are celebrating the friendship agreement between Kiama and Hoi An in Vietnam.
“It should be a great market and we'll be very happy to farewell winter and welcome spring.''
