Mr Steyn served the president for three years in the 1990s, a crucial time in South Africa's history as the country teetered on civil war, and he watched as Mr Mandela led the country to unexpected levels of peace and stability.
He will speak of his personal experiences with the president and share his stories of reconciliation in South Africa's recent history as well as his own story of being reconciled with God.
Mr Steyn's visit is sponsored by Anglican Aid. A hot breakfast will be served at 8.30am, with the event ending at 10.30am.
Tickets cost $15 and are available by ringing the church on 4232 2066.
