Ian Wilcox from B Grade nailed every drive and putt, coming in with the best score of the day with 43 Stableford points.
Not far behind in the same grade were Simon Urszulak (42) and Nathan Ford (40).
Andrew Tartu had the best A Grade result of 38 points, with Tony Quinn's 38 points securing the runner-up spot after a countback. Neil Guy slipped into third spot after shooting 37 points.
Balls went to players who had 36 points or better. Nearest to Pins 2nd C. Bond, 8th R. Szulerowski, 9th Drive & Pitch M. Schibeci, 14th R. Foskitt, 18th S. Clay, 17th Longest Drive (A) B. Pearce (B) G. Manning.
The 12-hole Chook Run saw Michael Gleeson in full flight, winning with an excellent 28 points. Craig Kennedy pressed Michael but came in with one point behind. Balls went to Brian Purcell (26), Neil Guy (26), Don Sharpe (22) and Mark Westhoff (22).
As predicted, the course was closed on Sunday due to rain.
