St Vincent’s will be knocking on doors throughout Shellharbour to help raise the necessary funds to maintain its services.

In line with trends over the last few years, St Vincent de Paul Society expect to see an increase in demand for assistance over the winter months. 

With energy prices and the cost of living continuing to put pressure on household budgets, more Australian families are struggling to make ends meet.

Money raised in the Doorknock Appeal will provide help with the purchase of food, utilities, clothing, housing and health care amongst many other vital necessities.

The appeal will run on the weekend of Saturday, August 23 and Sunday August 24.
