The carnival will attract more than 1000 players and up to 3000 visitors overall to Kiama in what club officials are describing as a feast of junior rugby.
"This is the strongest representation of players in one year that the club has had in its history and these players will do us proud representing Kiama Junior Rugby and continue to showcase the skills that they have learnt over the years and good sportsmanship that is Kiama Rugby," Kiama Junior Rugby official Dave Crowe said.
"The club has five players from our under 12s and three from the under 11s in the South Coast team and we couldn't be happier."
Luke Males, Tahj Amone, Ruhan Vermaak, Ernie McCarthy and Tom Prosser are from the under 12s and Rory Lawrence, Kalum White and Lachlan Petterson will be from the under 11s.
Luke Males has been playing rugby union for the past six years for Kiama Junior Rugby and has been the club captain for the past couple of years. He has represented Illawarra, which plays in the NSW State Cup, and will captain the South Coast team from either hooker or flanker.
Tahj Amone has been playing rugby for the past five years for Kiama and for the past two years for Illawarra. This is his second year in the South Coast PSSA team and he will play No 8 or flanker.
Ruhan Vermaak is in his second year with Kiama and has also played for the Illawarra team and is also his second year in the South Coast team and will play five-eighth or in the centres.
Ernie McCarthy has been playing for Kiama for the past three years and like the other boys has represented Illawarra for the past two seasons. His utility value will be used at either halfback, centre or fullback.
Tom Prosser has also been playing rugby for the past two years for his club and despite not having played representative rugby until now, will be a vital member of the squad at front-row or lock.
Rory Lawrence has been playing for the past four years for his club with two years' experience in the Illawarra representative team, and plays half-back or five-eighth.
Kalum Whyte has two years' experience with Kiama Junior Rugby and two years for Illawarra and will play either centres or No 8.
Lachlan Petterson is in his first year at Kiama and will add his flair at either lock or flanker.
