In the Lake Times paid advertisement (LT 16/7) on p13 "News from the Hub" is a headline "State Supports Shellharbour City Library".
Nowhere in the column is there any mention of anything about the "state" and "support for Shellharbour City Library", or anything relating to the headline.
The article on page 3 "Library grant not nod for city hub" says: "a spokesperson for the state library said the grant was not a show of support for the hub development. The proposed million dollar Shellharbour City Hub development was not a consideration in assessing the application".
When does this $200,000 grant become available? Will it be spent now on the Warilla central library and the branch libraries? Or will it be taken but put towards the cost of the proposed Hub?
If taken now, will it not have to be spent now, on existing facilities, rather than on some imaginary, maybe, Hub library?
Why has the mention of "Council administrative offices" now been pushed to the bottom of the column, almost as an afterthought, when these will occupy most of the building?
As Pauline would say, "Please explain?"
