The Falcons dominated the second half with goals from Gary Newall and Sam Markoulis in a brilliant effort by the whole team, and sweet revenge for the first round hiding the Falcons received from Berkeley.
Falcons coach Michael Garcia said this was the best team effort so far this season.
He praised consistent defence, commitment, supporting midfield work and top finishing.
The first winner for the Falcons came midway through the second half from a goal-mouth scramble, with Gary Newall on the spot to find the target.
The second goal came in the 81st minute via a brilliant volley by Sam Markoulis.
Man of the match went to Daniel Petrolo.
Youth grade coach Klaus Wunsch had to make do without several key players required for first grade, and the youngsters struggled against a good Berkeley team, losing 2-1.
Reserve grade coach Nathan Parteous was disappointed with his boys, who went down 4-1.
The Falcons are at home this Saturday against the Warilla Wanderers.
