The South Coast Vocational Training & Employment Centre (VTEC) will offer guaranteed jobs for up to 200 people who complete the required training.
The jobs will be in multiple industries, such as health and banking, airlines, construction, waste management, and local and state government.
The training and employment centre will be run by Habitat Personnel.
Habitat has operated since 1994 delivering a range of programs and services specifically to the Aboriginal community
Between 2010 and 2014 Habitat Personnel helped 611 Aboriginal people find work.
The Australian Government has committed up to $45 million for VTECs to place up to 5,000 Indigenous Australians into specific jobs across Australia before July 2015.
