“The house is in its original state and it is incredibly run down. The three teams have a monumental task to get it done.
“The teams will be doing some amazing things to the place such as opening up the whole living room area which has great ocean views, a new kitchen, new bedrooms and they will stock all the new cupboards with new linen.
“It’s bright and fun, we really want to make it a fun space for those who need it most.”
Ms Griggs said Barnados were “overwhelmed” when they found out the news and were grateful the show were coming to renovate its holiday home facility.
“For a reality show to do something for other people that will be a legacy for hundreds of families across NSW, is just fantastic.”
The house is divided up into three zones (one zone per team) and the teams have seven days to renovate their respective areas
