More than 75 auxiliary members, visitors and Shellharbour hospital staff got together at Warilla Bowling Club to reflect of the group’s community service and hold an award ceremony.
Lorraine Willetts received the Internal Life Membership Award and Judith Bear received the 25-year Certificate.
Auxiliary publicity officer, Edna Harley said, since formation in 1986, the group had raised more than $772,000 for the Shellharbour hospital.
“It is just such an excellent amount and in the last 12 months we have raised over $37,000 for the hospital,” Ms Harley said.
“Today is a great day to celebrate the hard work of our members over the years and celebrate a big 28 years.
“We are very thankful of the support from the community, private sector and local businesses and the things they all do for us.”
