KIAMA Swimming Club recently held its annual presentation to reward the young swimmers who compete every week at their meets.

More than 70 children are members, with swimmers ranging from under-six beginners to teenagers competing at state and NSW Country level.
The club champion award went to Liam Williams for his outstanding effort not just at swim club each week but also for his performances representing the club at inter-club carnivals, including NSW Country.
Awards for those who showed most improvement in personal best times went to Jasper Scobie and Ella Waiman.
The Walker Shield, donated by referee Archie Walker, went to Isabella Walker.
The Cliff Hales Memorial Trophy for the highest point-score for the season went to Brielle Lambert, and long-distance swimming awards went to Liam Williams, Liam Hinchcliffe, Kade Roberts, Madeleine Bakker, Emily Klepczarek and Grace Mahon.
Respective age champions for girls and boys were Amelia Geraghty, Hamish Keat, Nash Miller, Jasmine Mole, Callum Roberts, Tayissa Boese, Liam Hinchcliffe, Brielle Lambert, Kade Roberts, Sarah Williams, Joel Hinchcliffe, Grace Mahon, Liam Williams, Zoe Walker and Emily Klepczarek.
Their NSW Country representatives were recognised - Liam Williams, Liam Hinchcliffe, Kristen Scotti, Lori Miller, Sarah Williams, Taylah Boese and Grace Mahon.
New swimmers are welcome to join the club, with two free trials available. Swim club meets every Friday at Kiama Leisure Centre at 6.30pm.
