The Manildra Group Under 14s showed the step up in grade was no problem when they defeated Culburra 22-18.

Tyson Marshall was first to score for the Swamp Rats when he made a break in play to score out wide.

Austin Thompson was next when he manoeuvred his way around the defence and scored next to the post.

Jack McDonell, after fighting his way through the defence, showed great determination and reached out to put the ball down one handed to score.

In the second half Bomaderry put up a kick and James Kaialac ran through to make a great one on one steal from the Culburra player and ran away to score under the post and seal victory for the Swamp Rats.

Cohan Simpson’s goal kicking was in great form converting three from four attempts.

Shoalhaven Embroidery Under 15s made it back to back wins with a 52-18 win over Jamberoo.

Hooker Nathan Lymbery had too much class, scoring a hat-trick of tries during the game and even converted a goal.

Zac Remnant had too much pace for the opposition, crossing over to score twice and went on to convert one of his tries.

Talon Stewart out-smarted the defence, manoeuvring his way through the opposition to score twice.

Drew Gough waited for the right opportunity in play to show his talent, making it a double for the game.

Goal kicker Jamie King was in superb form, kicking six conversions.

IGA North Bomaderry Under 13s played out an 18-all draw against Gerringong.

This was a see-sawing game that went right down until the final siren, with both teams having the opportunity to take the win.

Jared Jankovic scored the first for the Swamp Rats when he received an offload from Caleb Mackie right near the try line to push through and score next to the post.

Ky Sims added the extra points.

Chaise Boulding was next to score when he received the ball to take on the defence and score.

Ky Sims was in good form scoring a double in the second half and kept the score locked at 18-all at full-time.

Nowra Cranes Under 8s put on a superb display of rugby league, thrashing Milton Ulladulla 28-6.

The Swamp Rats hit there straps and never looked back from kick off until full-time.

Riley Ingram was too strong, overpowering the defence to score twice and convert one goal.

Kyle Munro had too much pace and also scored two tries.

Charlie Fuller side-stepped his way around the opposition to score, with Max Beck converting the try.

Bailey Gossage was too strong, powering his way to the try line.

ANJ Fabrications Under 10s made the long trek down to Ulladulla and were victorious with a 40-10 shellacking over Milton Ulladulla.

The team displayed great teamwork and all the hard work on Friday at training paid off with a great win.

Charlie Garrick scored a hat-trick of tries.

Calib McGillick played awesome, scoring two tries and converted a goal and Ashton Burns played great, scoring a double.

Kurt Wisniewski scored his first try for the Swamp Rats with Matthew Wallis converting the try.

Drue Johnston was too strong, running through the defence to score his try.

J Jay Tree Services Under 7s Gold played some good football and their coach was really pleased with their performance.

Toby Dyball is really playing well for his first year of football and it showed when he scored three fantastic tries for the Swamp Rats.

Finlay Kennedy played a great game, scoring his first try for the Swamp Rats and Cooper Carson and Lucas Avery kicked goals during the game.

The final score at full-time saw Nowra defeat Bomaderry 28-20.

Mammas Italian Kitchen Under 9s played Milton Ulladulla but were defeated 42-14.

Luke Kirwin played well scoring a double and Kyeden Booth scored a well deserved try and went on to convert the goal.

ANJ Fabrications Under 7s Blue team were defeated by Nowra Kangaroos 20-8.

Kynan Miller and Eric Shaw were the only try scorers for the Swamp Rats.

Cookes Truck and Tyre Center Under 16s played a red hot Wests and were defeated 42-nil.

Bomaderry Hotel Under 11s travelled to Flinders for their clash against Stingrays.

The team tried hard but were defeated 28-10.

Brody Davoodi and Harley Shaw scored a try and Harley converted his try.

Bomaderry Bowling club under 12's travelled to Flinders to play Stingrays Gold. All reports is that this was another good game of football.

The team’s never give up attitude showed after being 10-nil down at half-time. The boys dug deep and hit back when Jake Locke tricked the defence after throwing a dummy and sprinted  away to score and bring the game back in reach after converting the try. 

Stingrays soon hit back to defeat Bomaderry 14-6.

The club has limited tickets remaining for State of Origin game two at ANZ Stadium on June 18 for any interested Swamp Rats players and their family members only. 

Cost will be $45, which includes bus and ticket to the game.
