GARDENING WITH SOUL ★★★1/2
(G) Selected cinemas (96 minutes)

Gardening With Soul is a film of modest yet far-reaching ambitions.

New Zealand filmmaker Jess Feast spent four seasons of the year with Sister Loyola Galvin, a nonagenarian nun whose warmth, candour and down-to-earth qualities translate readily across the screen.

Feast introduces her through her work as a gardener, then delves deeper into her life and philosophy.
