Gerringong Music Club will present the Youth Orchestra on Sunday at 2pm at Gerringong Public School Hall.
The internationally renowned youth orchestra boasts 30 members.
Their program features lively items by Mozart including the Jupiter Symphony, as well as Ancient Air for Strings by Respighi.
Long-time orchestra manager and cello teacher Tanya Phillips said the Mozart-based concert should be popular among music lovers.
She said the show had been well-received in other parts of NSW, and this Thursday the orchestra would perform at NSW Parliament House.
"We are going to introduce some of the well-known Mozart classics to the Gerringong audience," she said.
"This is the first time we've learnt an entire symphony, as they're quite difficult to play, and the Jupiter Symphony is one of the most difficult.
"Mozart is very simple to listen to, but very difficult to play.
"We did it to challenge the students and introduce them to a different style of playing, as well as give the audience the chance to listen to some well-known Mozart classics."
Mrs Phillips said the concert may be somewhat nostalgic for fans of the 1984 film Amadeus.
"For people who enjoyed the film, it's like a blast from the past," she said.
"For those who haven't seen it, it's a chance to familiarise themselves with the music of Mozart."
Tickets for the concert are $15 at the door.
Doors open at 1.30pm, and the show is free for members, children and students.
The hall is in Archibald Road.
