POLICE are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Shellharbour on Monday, April 21.

At about 8.30pm on Monday, a man armed with a hammer entered a grocery store on Wattle Road, Flinders and demanded cash.
The man then fled on foot with cash and cigarettes in the direction of Tabourie Close.
The man is described as being 30-40 years old and around 180cm tall.
He was last seen wearing brown, hooded long-sleeved jumper with a grey symbol across the chest and down the arms, blue track pants with grey stripes.
He was also wearing white running shoes, a baseball cap underneath the hood of the jumper, black and fluoro orange gloves, and a black backpack.
