Reports have filtered in with some good weather days turning up for the Easter break, centering around Jelly Bean sized Yellowfin Tuna in 50fa taking lures trolled for Marlin. I suspect a few were taken for a feed! See photo of Mick with a lure caught small Fin.
Sondal and ProFishEnt were out on Monday taking advantage of the great weather to chase Blues without any luck! Cobra tagged a small Black Marlin in 70fa and that continues to indicate a late season is with us. The water in close is very warm re-enforcing all species of Marlin are about. Numerous reports of Striped Marlin have also been on the "Goss Line" and Dollies are still in the mix.
The Jelly Bean Fin should have some Blues looking for a feed. They would also be good value slow trolled as livies and I'm sure a good Striped or Black would have them for a meal!
