The all-rounder had a stunning season, which included more than 1000 runs and about 30 wickets.
"I was pretty stoked when I found out and without putting the award down, I would have gladly swapped the honour for a first grade premiership," White said, reflecting on his side's failure to win back-to-back titles.
White won a plethora of awards on the night, including first grade batting average and aggregate and shared the umpires award (on a 3-2-1 during the season) with Albion Park's Graeme Smith and Shellharbour City captain Ben Mitchell.
Oak Flats youngster Darren Mansfield won the Athol Noble Trophy as representative player of the year after being selected as a shadow player for the Country Colts.
Kiama's Matt O'Brien was Burns Cup player of the year and Kieran Gray the Jeffrey Cup player of the year.
Gary Paget was the popular winner of the umpire of the year award (as voted by the clubs), while Bruce Whiteman took out the first grade umpires' award and John Rose won second grade.
Gary Yeaman was named curator of the year.
