The Falcons were leading 1-0 before thunder, lightning and torrential rain forced the teams off the field with nearly 20 minutes to go, after a goal was scored by Chris Murdzevski in the second half.
A decision has yet to be made by Football South Coast whether the last 20 minutes have to be replayed.
Next Saturday, the Falcons have another home game at the oval, hosting Picton Rangers.
Two days later the Falcons meet Premier League champion side Port Kembla in both grades - youth grade (6pm) and first grade (8pm) at Wetherall Park, Primbee, in the annual Bert Bampton Cup knockout.
Youth grade unfortunately lost 2-1 against a more experienced Balgownie side, mainly due to two terrible errors in defence.
Coach Klaus Wunsch praised his players and said he was seeing improvement every week.
The Falcons' goal was scored by Leyn Simon.
Reserve grade lost 2-1 and missed numerous chances.
Several prospective first graders made an appearance, but were unable to turn the game around.
Coach Nathan Porteous tried various combinations and had four players on the bench.
