A black convertible Mini Cooper driven by a 49-year-old woman and a truck driven by a 63-year-old man were travelling north at about 10am before colliding near the Bombo interchange.
A second woman was a passenger in the Mini Cooper.
Traffic and Highway Patrol Senior Constable Mark Byers said police were still taking statements on the cause of the accident.
"Fortunately no one was injured," he said.
"Paramedics were here to treat the passengers of the Mini, but they didn't require any further treatment."
The incident has caused slight delays on the Princes Highway's northbound lanes, with travel reduced to one lane.
The northbound off-ramp was also closed.
Closures were still in place at 12.30pm.
