Balls went down to 33 points. Nearest to Pins. 2nd T. Quinn, 8th K. Moore, 9th Drive and Pitch B. Gillard, 14th T. Quinn, 18th A. Reay, 17th Longest Drive (A) S. Clay, (B) M. Berry.
Top marks to Bill Carveth and his partners who completed the course despite the howling nor-east wind which didn't let up regardless of how early you hit the first tee. Bill is taking every opportunity to play regardless of conditions before he embarks on a skiing trip to the US. Bill managed to build up 36 points, but no-one was able to hit a green and hold it with a nearest to pin.
Dean Matters was the best hunter and gatherer in the chook run, running amuck with 28 points after 12 holes.
The next two placings went to Ron Davison and Craig Kennedy respectively for their 27 points. Balls went to K. Bailey (24), I. Jolley (24), M. Gleeson (24), M. Simmons (24) and K. Webb (23).
George Long was sponsor for the day.
