Winner takes bragging rights

AS the day warmed up at Gerringong Golf Club last Tuesday, so did Allen Clarke's game.

All the sweat was worth it after Allen signed for 44 points to easily win the day.

Minor placings went to Neil Guy (37), Kris Puckeridge (35) and Ben Pearce (34 points).

Balls went to players who had 32 points or better.

A big field contested Saturday's Stableford event, with Ralph Szulerowski edging fellow A-Grader Tim Murphy into runner-up position after a countback on their 41 points.

Ian Donald managed to usurp the B-Grade winner's prize from Kane Moore after a countback on their shared 40 points; 37 points or better won you a ball.

Going back to work on Monday was made a whole lot easier for Craig Kennedy with the knowledge that he had bragging rights after winning Sunday's Stableford with 41 points.

John Cronin was runner-up with a modest 38 Stableford points on his score card.

Greg Hemsworth won a ball for his 37 points. Nearest to Pins: 8th C. Kennedy, 14th M. Cawsey.

Babs Simmons won the young pullet division in Thursday's 12-Hole Chook Run with 24 points.

The runner-up was Lea Walz with 18 points.

The rooster division was dominated by Kevin Dorahy's 22 points, with Kevin Webb coming in one point behind to be runner-up.
