The gruelling six-kilometre climb from Kiama High School up to the Saddleback Mountain Lookout was completed in a winning time of 32 minutes and 33 seconds. Congratulations to Matt Cooper from the Southern Highlands.
Cooper was closely followed by John Schol and Paul Stein.
In the Adult Female category the winning time was 36 minutes, 13 seconds by Tennille Shelley.
Steph Perkiss was second in this category, closely followed by Jill Files.
In the Under-16 Male category the winning time was posted by Liam Flanagan at 38 minutes, 13 seconds, followed by Ewan Bell.
In the Under-16 Female category the winning time of 48 minutes and seven seconds was posted by Daisy Files, who narrowly beat her twin sister Amy.
The fun run, organised by the Rotary Club of Kiama in joint association with their partners Oxygen Fitness, is now in its third year and has become a must-do event for those who really want to challenge themselves.
