KIAMA Knights have finished their season with a premiership double after taking out the under-18 and women's league tag titles in the Group 7 Rugby League grand finals at Nowra Showground.
The under-18s led the minor premiers Berry Magpies 14-10 at the break before going on to record a memorable 26-10 win on Sunday.
Berry opened their account in the seventh minute before a deft Daniel Martin grubber found open pastures, Corey Grigg pouncing on the crumbs.
Kiama's left-edge attack troubled the opposition all day and Cameron Cornell extended the Knights' buffer.
Just seconds after a Berry try was disallowed, the Knights went left again and Cornell bagged his second to give his side a half-time advantage.
Mitch Boles booted a penalty goal, and from the next set of six went straight through the middle, before putting Matt Morris over.
With 11 minutes left, the Knights sealed the win with a four-pointer to Man of the Match Vaughn Thistlethwaite.
The Knights' women's league tag team exacted their revenge for last year's heart-breaking, last-ditch loss, with a 12-10 win over Nowra-Bomaderry Jets.
Jets skipper Belinda Chittleborough opened the scoring in just the fifth minute, Talia Atfield converting for 6-0.
Erin Guy showed exceptional speed to cross out wide to cut the deficit to two points.
Kiama took the advantage when the evasive Kristi Pan netted a four-pointer.
Just moments later, Atfield's grubber kick ricocheted about like a pinball, before re-gathering in heavy traffic to touch down.
Player of the Match Talarah Bell then scored the match-winner with 11 minutes remaining, presenting Kiama with their second league tag title.
Minor premiers Warilla-Lake South Gorillas took out the reserve grade title after a hard-fought 18-10 win over Gerringong.
