The Seven Network announced Jade as one of the three actresses who will appear in Never Tear Us apart: The Untold Story of INXS, as love interests to lead singer Michael Hutchence.

Jade will play Minogue, while Georgina Haig takes the role of Paula Yates who was mother to Hutchene's daughter Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence.

Haig was seen most recently in the ABC comedy sketch show The Elegant Gentleman's Guide to Knife Fighting after playing a regular guest role on the US series Fringe.

Mallroy Janson will play supermodel Helena Christensen.

Jansen played the role of Sharon in Howzat! Kerry Packer's War.

This is the second casting announcement after Luke Arnold was confirmed to play Hutchence alongside Hugh Sheridan as bass guitarist Garry Gary Beers, Alex Williams as Kirk Pengilly, Nicholas Masters as Tim Farriss, Ido Drent as Jon Farriss and Andy Ryan as Andrew Farriss.

The two-part series is being shot in Melbourne and produced by Mark Fennessy and Rory Callaghan.

INXS's manager CM Murphy is a co-executive producer and will be played by Damon Herriman on screen.

The statement from Seven promises "an authentic behind-the-scenes look beyond the music [to] tell the band's extraordinary and uncensored story, with full access to the their archive of music, photography and stories."

Seven have not announced when the series will go to air.
