WATER will be cut off from 5000 customers in Gerringong, Gerroa and Werri Beach from 11pm tonight after a water main was burst in Fern Street.
The main was broken earlier today during roadworks - Sydney Water will need to turn off the main to repair it, however a spokeswoman said it would wit until 11pm to minimise disruption.
Water will be back on by 6am.
Customer can draw water from two water tankers - one outside Mayflower Village on Belinda Street and one outside the Mercure on Fern Street - from 10.30pm.
Customers are encouraged to call 13 20 90 if they need urgent help.
