Jamberoo Bowling Club’s No 6 Pennant team travelled to Gerringong over the weekend for trial games and ended up winning all four games by 59 shots (113 to 54).

Vic East's side of Bill Brown, Noel Allen and Ray Keating easily defeated John Zarb's team 31-5.
Warren Duncan's side of Ian Bradburn, Steve Thistle and John Hawes defeated A. Wells team 20-18 in a tight encounter with the scores level 18-all with one end to play.
Brian Moore's side of David Brown, Glen Moran, and Glen Murray also had a good win against M King's team 27-17, after leading 27-9 with 3 ends to go, while Bob Rodwell's team of Ken Jones, Ken Cotter and Des Harris also had an easy win 35-14 in their match.
Jamberoo host Robertson this Saturday at 1pm in another pennant trial and after last week's great effort will go into the match full of confidence, especially as a few good players were unavailable against Gerringong.
In a club fours quarter-final Greg Clough's team of Jeff O'Brien, Ian Bradburn and Warwick Drew had an exciting win over warm favourites John Hawes side of Simon Fitzgerald, Steve Thistle and Mick Souter 19-16.
This was a close match nearly all the way, with Clough's side leading 9-4 early, and the scores being level at 9-all, 11-all and 16-all with only two ends to play. However Clough's team scored three shots to win a match that had everything.
The major singles draw has been made with first matches due to be played by Sunday, February 24 and entry sheet for major pairs is on the board.
