KIAMA Knights Rugby League Football Club will officially launch their 2013 campaign when they host their annual golf day next Monday.
The day is one of the club's major fund-raisers and always attracts a big crowd. Club president Paul Atkins said numbers already indicated a successful day.
"We already have more than 90 people booked and a lot of people tend to leave it up to the last minute to book, so that would indicate a bumper crowd," he said.
"This is an important day to us and we need that support in the lead-up to what looks like being another big season as we try to build on last year's semi-final finish."
The event is a three-person ambrose played in groups of six and is open to all levels of golfers.
A nomination fee of $60 (or $35 for under-18s) entitles players to the round of golf, breakfast, lunch in the clubhouse, three drinks and lots of prizes, both group and individual, with breakfast at 6.30am and a shot-gun start at 7.45am.
Time sheets are available at the Kiama Golf Club pro shop or the Kiama Leagues Club.
But Atkins has warned that anyone who wants to play to not leave it until the last minute.
"It would be a shame for anyone who wants to play to miss out, so it would be an idea to get in early," he said.
