KIAMA High School student Grace Randall is continuing to show judges at the annual Kiama Show that she has the right ingredients, exhibiting her culinary talents for the fifth year in a row.
Ms Randall is returning to gain another taste of success, having previously won Best Breakfast Tray, Best Scones and Best Cake in the under 16 years category as well as the title of Most Successful Junior Exhibitor.
She believes it was assisting her mother with family meals and baking cupcakes with her friends which inspired her passion for cooking.
"A friend of mine said she was entering some cooking in the show and I decided to do the same," Ms Randall said.
"I started off by entering just a couple of things and that has grown each year".
Ms Randall has enjoyed the experience of participating so much she is encouraging other local residents to enter something in the show.
"Enter whatever (competition) you want," she said.
"Even if it takes you a few years to be successful".
Following her own advice, Ms Randall has also entered the photography competition in recent years.
This year she is planning to enter photographs of a trip she took to Sydney earlier this month as well as photographs of some of her friends surfing.
Like many Kiama residents, Ms Randall is looking forward to spending time with her friends at the show.
"It's a cool feeling to be able to show my friends what I did."
