CURVES Kiama is challenging women to take part in the Seven Bridges Walk in Sydney on Sunday, October 28.

Charmaine Wheatley, who manages Curves, wants everyone to "get moving" and take part in the 22km circuit walk around seven of Sydney's bridges.

At present there are 50 women from Curves in Kiama, Bowral and Shellharbour who plan to attend the event.

"I've never done it and it will be great to see some parts of Sydney," said Carolyn King, a member of Curves Kiama.

"I'm definitely looking forward to it; the Kiama girls are good fun."

Kiama BeachBodz has also been issued the challenge to get involved.

Owner Leigh Miranda said they would certainly be going ahead with the challenge.

The event will also aid the Warilla Women's Refuge and those women who donate seven cans of food will be supplied with a Curves T-shirt to wear on the day.

Curves Kiama has been finding new ways to donate to the Warilla Women's Refuge. Last week there was no joining fee for women who donated a bag of clothing to the charity, which was very successful.

"It is a worthwhile women's charity that is in dire straits, that's why we strongly support it," Mrs Wheatley said.

"Kiama Curves is about social activities, not just physical fitness," she said.
